Farmers make hay as sun shines
The weather has been pretty good for almost three weeks now, fine most of the time, but local farmers and householders have been getting on with rearing the hay and silage, and in getting the turf home. It is great to see all of this work been tidied up at the moment. Many people have the job done and others are down to getting home the last few loads of turf. It appears that the weather will not be too bad over the coming week. It has been a good summer so far and hopefully this weather will continue.
