Pride of Place competition
Rathowen Community will be representing Westmeath in the 2014 Pride of Place and the Judges will be here on Tuesday, 19th August for a morning inspection. All community groups are attending a meeting every Tuesday evening up to the day of the competition at 7.30pm in the Community Centre and all residents of the community are asked to help. Please come to the meeting and see how you can help Rathowen win this award, an award the Community deserves and can win when everyone comes out and puts their shoulder behind the wheel. Take a look at your houses and fences and grass and see how it could be improved, were asking for 1 hour of help a week for the weeks leading up to the day of the competition and then all to attend a great celebration and presentation of our Community on the day. Rathowen is a great place to live, the people living here are the reason its a great place to live, lets prove that on Tuesday the 19th August with a celebration that these two judges will never forget.
