A memorial Darts competition takes place in CJ’S this coming Sunday, 23rd at 4.30pm. The Seamus McGlynn memorial darts competition is now an annual event and all monies raised will go to Roscommon/Mayo Hospice.
A table Quiz in aid of Ballyfeeney National School ill take place in Leavy’s Lounge, Scramogue this Friday night, 21st February at 9.30pm. Tables of 4 40 euro, all funds to Ballyfeeney National School. You are asked to support this night.

Sanctuary Players are back and will perform shortly in Backstage Longford and Roscommon Arts Centre shortly with the exciting play by Michael J Ginnelly called: Pretend Sick. A Church gate collection will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 22nd and 23rd February at Whitehall Church in aid of purchasing a new sound system for the Tarmonbarry Folk Group. Please support this project.
Scouting Ireland intend holding a public meeting in Kilglass GAA Clubhouse on Wednesday night, 19th February at 8.30pm. If you are interested in your children joining a scout group in your local area or wish to become a volunteer, please attend the meeting.
A basic and very enjoyable Gardening Class will commence shortly in the Tarmonbarry region. Anyone from anywhere in the region can join this class. Class will run over five weeks, once a week for about an hour and a half. Real practical work will take place at each class and plants will be shown at each class. There will also be something different and a cuppa at each class. You must become part of this to really see how beneficial and enjoyable the whole course is. Phone 086-2507590 for further details.
