Granard Happy Heart Walking Club continues each Friday morning with instruction from Brendan Doyle at 10am at Higginstown Complex. This course is in association with Longford Sports Partnership and Brendan is a professional coach. Come and join us and enjoy a great walk. All paces catered to.

A big Thank You to all who supported and donated to our coffee morning on Friday last. It was much appreciated. Congratulations to the winner of the beautiful hamper – Josephine McManus Moyne Co. Longford. Our shop opens every Friday Saturday and the first Tuesday of the month 10.00am to 5.00pm. We have a large stock of clothes of all sizes ranging from 8 – 24 - ladies gents and children. Granard Pitch and Putt
Membership for the coming year is now due and can be paid at Granard Pitch and Putt Clubhouse at Granard GAA Sports Complex on Sunday next, the 23 February between (11.00am-2.00pm) or to Club Treasurer Raymond Fay. Membership for this coming year is Adult €60; Family €120; Senior Citizen €25; Juvenile €20; student €25 and Associated €30.There is a special offer going on at the moment of a 15% discount on all memberships. This offer expires on Monday 24 February as registrations will be sent away to the PPUI on Tuesday 25 February. We also would urge all members, be they current or new to pay as soon as possible as to avoid the disappointment of not being registered to play in particular competitions. Canon Gerry McCauley, retired parish priest of Lanesborough who died at Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown were he resided for many years since his retirement. Burial took place in his native Co.
