There was widespread shock and sadness at the sudden and untimely death of Kevin Gallagher, Clondra Village on Saturday last. Eldest son of Brendan and Nancy Gallagher. Kevin had only returned from New York a week earlier having worked there in the construction business for the past 12 years. We extend our deepest sympathies at this very sad time to his heartbroken parents Brendan and Nancy, sister Jane, brothers Niall, Brendan and Gary, nephew and nieces, relatives, friends in New York and Clondra & neighbours. May he rest in peace. We also extend our sympathies to Seamus Higgins, Clondra on the death of his nephew, Gary Dillon, Cartron Bay, Sligo. A young man in his early 30s, who was in failing health for some time. The late Gary was a great friend and supporter of his native town Sligo Rovers and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace. We extend our sympathies to Celine O’Rourke, Killashee on the death of her brother, Martin McKeown, which occurred recently.
