Church notes

St Marys Ennybegs Masses Wednesday. No Mass Thursday 10am, Friday 7.30pm. Exposition blessed Sacrament in both churches Wednesday 6-9pm. “Do this in memory of me” Mass Sunday 15 December 2013 at 11am. The season of Advent asks all of us to reflect upon the real me. Congratulations on a very spontaneous moving drama production of “A Stolen Child” by the Cilloe Yew Tree players staged last week in Ennybegs Community Centre. Excellent reviews also appreciation to all choir members from the parish who contribute to the Sunday mass liturgies in St Olivers Cullyfad/ St Marys Ennybegs. St Olivers Cullyfad Mass Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Cilloe Yew Tree Players

An extended and sincere thank you to everyone who supported our recent production of “A Stolen Child” staged in Ennybegs Community Centre Killoe. Also thanks to the cast , director and backstage assemblage for input and dedication in staging an excellent production. Sincere thanks to Fr Sean Casey for re-arranging Mass times to accommodate the drama. Rehearsals are already underway for the next production to take place in early 2014. So watch this space.

Community Games

This week sees Draughts continuing on Thursday nights in Cullyfad at 7pm. Badminton will be held on Fridays in Drumlish Community Centre, and Basketball continues on Tuesdays at 6.30pm, also in Drumlish Community Centre. Training for both Indoor Soccer and Table Tennis will be starting soon. Killoe Community Games would like to congratulate both Patricia Feeney and Joe Fox on their induction into the Hall of Fame. This is a wonderful achievement for them both. Killoe Community Games would also like to congratulate Turlough Farrelly on receiving the County Adult Volunteering Award this year.
