Ardagh Group of Parishes - The following Christmas Services will be held in the Ardagh group of parishes, to which everyone is welcome. Service of nine lessons and carols in Tashinny Church on Sunday15th December at 11.30.Service of nine Lessons and Carols in Kenagh Church on Sunday 22nd December at 11.30am. Christmas Eve Holy Communion in Tahsinny Church at 7pm Holy Communion in Kenagh Church at 9pm. Christmas Day Holy Communion in Ardagh Church at 10am. Holy Communion in Ballymahon at 11.30am. Sunday 29th December United Service in Ardagh Church at 11.30am.


Our Christmas competition is on at the moment and we need everyone in the competition to be present on Thursday night next. Final must be played on Thursday 19th as Christmas party and presentation is in Lyons pub afterwards. Please note correct footwear must be worn on mats as in Westmeath league rules.

Whist Drive

Whist drive in aid of guide dogs for the blind takes place in The Community Centre, Ardagh on Friday, 13th December at 8pm.


Sympathy is extended to Josie Gillen, Ballygar, on the death of her brother, Frank Farrell and to Felix McCaul, Ardagh Village on the death of his brother, Frank. May they rest in peace.


Ardagh Ladybirds, Brownies and Guides invite everyone to an Afternoon of Christmas; Brownies present: Gold to Bethlehem; Guides bring you a Medieval Midwinter traditional Mummers Play and join the Ladybirds for a sing-song of Christmas favourites! Saturday, 14th December at 3pm in Ardagh Community Centre. Adults €5, children free - under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments and Raffle.
