Tidy Towns

The monthly Tidy Towns meeting takes place in The Hill on Wednesday the 2 October at 8pm. Members are asked to note the earlier time.

Teenage Mass

Following a very promising initial get together, a practice will be held in the Church on Friday the 4th October at 8pm. All teenagers are urged to attend. The Mass is on Sunday 27th of October,at 10.30 a.m.


October is the month of The Rosary. The weekly recitation of the Rosary resumes on Friday the 4th October at 7.30pm. All are welcome.

Drama group

Newtowncashel Drama Group holds it’s annual general meeting in The Hill on Monday 7th October at 8pm. All are welcome.

Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival presentation night takes place in Doyle’s, Kenagh, this Saturday 5th October at 10pm. All are welcome.

Ladies GAA

Well done to Rathcline who won the Intermediate ‘A’ Football Championship Final on Saturday last. A number of of Cashel ladies featured on the team and panel. Special congratulations is extended to Lauren Farrell who secured player of the Match award.

Charity Walk

A Charity Run/Walk, 4km, commences in Lanesboro this Sunday the 6th October at 1pm. For further details, please go to Your support would be greatly appreciated.
