Community Games AGM
The AGM of Tarmon/Scramogue Comunity Games takes place on Monday, 7th October in St. Barry’s GAA Centre. This will be a swift and constructive meeting so you are encouraged to attend.
A vacancy exists for an Administrator/Secretary (maternity cover) based in Ruskey. Payroll, general bookeeping etc. Contact the local DSP Employment Services Office.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Jackie Wallace, Tonycurneen, Scramogue on the sudden and untimely death of her mother, Veronica Burke, Cloonfree, Strokestown which occurred recently while in holidays in Portugal. There is widespread shock and sadness at Veronica’s passing and our deepest sympathy to Veronica’s husband Pat, son Michael, sister, son in law Sean and grand-daughter Katy, other relations and close friends and our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
A monster Auction takes place on Sunday, 6th October in the Kon-Tiki at 2pm in aid of Ruskey Church Restoration Fund. If you wish to donate something please make contact with 087-9921068.
Training continues for under 6, 8 and under 10s each Friday evening. Please make sure your children turn up on each Friday evening.
We send congrats to our St. Barry’s under 12s who did so well in their league. The boys finished their campaign recently and thanks to Ritchie our trainer for his trophies and goodies for the squad which he presented to the lads on Sunday last. Well done all.

Rosary will be recited in St. Anne’s Church, Scramogue every Wednesday, meeting after Mass for the months of October and November. Mass is at 7pm.
