The Gathering: Auditions for the forthcoming production of “An American Wake” will take place on Friday 8th March in The old Schoolhouse, Ballymahon Road, Edgeworthstown from 7pm to 9pm. Come along and try out if you can sing, dance, recite poetry, play music, young and old needed for casting. Also we are seeking dance teachers, artists, dressmakers and so on, come along if you have spare time to help out. This production is to be held on the 5th July in The community centre as part of The Gathering 2013 celebrations. For further interest please call 086-1513152.

St. Mary’s National School: Enrolment for Junior Infants will take place from 18th February to 1st March. Enrolment forms and further information can be obtained by calling to the school during school hours.

DEFIBRILLATOR GROUP: We require 120 mobile phones to provide a new defibrillator box to properly secure the defibrillator. If you have any old phones that you no longer have any use for, please could you drop them in to The Post Office or The Old Schoolhouse Office. Thank you.

Senior Citizens Club: A General Meeting will be held in The Green on Monday 4th March at 8.00pm to form a new committee for the Senior Citizens Club in Edgeworthstown. All are welcome.

Mostrim GAA: There was no jackpot winner in the last Lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 1, 7, 22, 23. Twenty-five Euro winners were Rose Lynn, John Rawle, Eithne Coyle, Carmel Walsh Ardagh. Mostrim GAA are collecting old mobile phones in order to get a proper cabinet for the defibrillator, they can be given to Tony Garvey, Michael Burke, Tom Victory or any officer of the Club.
