Dromod

Road side clean up: Last Saturday saw a great clean up of the road sides in the Dromod/Bornacoola area, this was all litter disposed of mostly by passing motorists but some was deliberate illegal dumping.
In all there were over 150 bags filled with milk cartons, beer and mineral cans and bottles, take away wrappers, dirty nappies, tyres and the list goes on and on. I would like to say a special thanks to all the volunteers who came along and gave their time and some of them their transport to clean up other peoples mess. We would hope to continue this annually around the end of February/start of March weather permittuing.
