COMMUNITY GAMES NEWS: Congratulations to Clodagh and Cait Kiely who qualified to represent Longford in the National Cross Country finals in Athlone later this year. We wish them every success. Best of luck to the children who will represent Killashee in the U14 table quiz. 
The quiz will take place on Tuesday 11th March in Edgeworthstown. The Easter Egg cards will be distributed to the local children this week. Tickets cost 2 euro with the opportunity to win 3 monster eggs. Your continued support of the raffle is greatly appreciated.

DEATH: The death occurred last week of Anthony Cox Clondra. Deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Maureen, sons Donal Liam Padraig and Eoghan, daughter Deirdre, his sister Mary Jo Gerety Kenagh, brother in law sister in law , nieces nephews relatives and friends. Anthony’s funeral took place in Clondra with burial in Ballymacormack. May his soul rest in peace.

Congrats: Congratulations to Newtowncashel Drama Group following their sell out performances of ‘Callaghan’s Place’. Last weekend the group performed to a full house with all proceeds being donated to Longford Hospice. The Hospice were presented with a cheque of 2200 euro. Congrats and well done to all concerned.
