Easter fundraising Draw: St. Matthews National School Parents Association are holding an Easter Fundraising Draw on Friday 22nd March next. Roller Skating Club: A Roller Skating Club will be starting on 7th March until May 24th for 10 weeks in the Bridgeways Family Resource Centre, (the old Dean Egan Library) for children aged 7 and upwards . Justin reaches All-Ireland Final: We wish the very best of luck to Justin McGuire, Carrickedmond, a student at Ballymahon’s Mercy Secondary School who has reached the All-Ireland Final of the Childline School Talent Search which takes place in the Helix on Saturday night next, 9th March. The Final will be shown on RTE television the following weekend. This competition is in aid of the “Childline” service of the I.S.P.C.C. and every vote cast , each vote costing 1, goes directly to this worthy cause. Justin, who will be representing his School on Saturday night, will perform a dance which he choreographed himself. We hope all goes well for him at the event.

Ballymahon Leo Casey History Group: The monthly meeting of the History group will be held on Thursday, March 7th at 8.00p.m. in the usual venue, the Dean Egan Hall. New members are always welcome.
