Good Wishes: Are extended to Kathleen Mulvey, Barry who recently retired from her grocery business in Barry village. Kathleen ran the family business from her dwelling house for over sixty years along with her late husband Ned. Her local shop was a favourite for the locals to meet and have a chat on a daily basis for many years. The closure of Barry store brings an end to business in the village as down through the years there were two pubs, a post office and a grocery shop in this small rural village. Back then were the good times as it is very sad now to travel through the village and see all these public premises gone. However we all wish Kathleen the last trader from Barry a long and healthy retirement.
