Olive Keaveney (nee Gannon): The death occurred on September 20th of Olive Keaveney (nee Gannon), Batterstown, Co. Meath and formerly Annaduff.Olive is deeply regretted by her husband Pat, family Cecil,Beryl, Olive, sister and extended family.Funeral and Burial took place in Batterstown. May she rest in peace.

Bingo: Bingo in Drumsna Community every Thursday night at 8.30pm.

Pastoral Council: A Meeting took place on Thursday 27th September in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff .Architects presented an update on Parish Projects.The Projects are now up for Tendering.

Golden Age Bowling: Bowling in the Mulvey Centre on this Wednesday October 10th at 11am followed by tea/coffee and sandwiches.

Parish/G.A.A Lotto: At the draw held in Duignan’s of Drumsna, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 3,4,20,22. The 50 Euro winner was Padraig McLoughlin, Dromod. The 25 Euro winners were Alice McLoughlin, Dromod, Thomas Faughnan, Aughamore, Ann Beirne, Drumgildra, Erica Ridge, Gortinty. The next draw will be heldf on Sunday night next in Taylor’s of Drumsna with a jackpot of 2,900 Euro.

Connacht Championship Draw: Great draw for Leitrim, first round v New York, semi final versus Sligo or London.

Sympathy: Deepest Sympathy is extended to the Garvey family, Jamestown on the death of Anthony Garvey, Dublin and Jamestown. May he rest in Peace.

County Final: Despite Emyln Mulligan not been at his best Melvin Gaels were easy winners against the four in a row Champions Glencar/ Manor. Melvin Gaels now play the Roscommon Champios away in Connacht.
