Active Age Snippets: There were eighteen present at the weekly meeting on Wednesday October 3rd. Among the items discussed were: Digital T.V. the Halloween Social, Bowling in Ck on Shannon, Carbon Monoxide danger, Social Dancing, the South Leitrim Forum and upcoming events. Work goes on apace in preparation for Digital TV installation changes and the Shoebox Appeal. Dates to remember are the Cloone-Aughavas Social, the Aughnasheelin Social, the Templeport Social and the Fenagh Table Quiz. There will be no weekly meeting on this Wednesday October 10th.

Recent Death: The sudden death has taken place of Mr. Fergus O Brien, London and formerly Drumeela. His funeral took place on Saturday last following Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Drumeela to the adjoining cemetery.
