FIRST STEP TO A HEALTHIER LIFE: With the onset of Autumn and the shorter days, exercise is important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. To this end there is an exercise programme starting at Ringtown GAA walking track where you can walk or run at your own pace, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Participants may attend as a group, and have the option to record their own weight confidentially if desired to be in with a chance of winning 100.00 euro for most weight lost. All participants in the programme have the chance to win a Hamper. The programme starts on Tuesday, October 9th, and will last for a total of eight weeks. HALLOWEEN FANCY DRESS DISCO: Lough Lene Gaels Camogie club are organising a Juvenile Halloween Fancy Dress Disco in Lough Lene Hall, Collinstown, on Friday night, October 26th, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm per person. Cost per person is 3.00 each. Proceeds from the event will be in aid of Collinstown Playground Project.

COLLINSTOWN/FORE PARISH NOVENA: The 2012 Collinstown/Fore Parish Novena commences with Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Collinstown, at 7.30pm on Monday, November 5th. The Novena will alternate every following Monday night between St. Mary’s Church, Collinstown, and St. Feichin’s Church, Fore, at 7.30pm. The Novena will conclude on Monday night, December 17th, with Mass in St.Mary’s Church, collinstown, starting at 7.30pm. Confessions will be heard by visiting priests on the same night.
