Newtowncashel

PARISH BARBEQUE: We would like to thank all the parishioners who came and enjoyed the event. Many hundreds came to the Bar-B-Q at the quarry park on Saturday night, to enjoy the music, food, entertainment and fortune teller. It was the brainchild of Mick Casey Chairman of the GAA. The falling water and the sculptures made by the FAS staff down the years were fully illuminated and lovely to see on the night. Sincere thanks to all who helped to make this a memorable night, and hopefully it will be the first of many. We will have a full report and some photos later on the parish website www.newtowncashel.ie.
