There were a number of food stops along the way everyone was in good spirits and encouraged each other to keep going to the end. Many thanks to all the cyclists for their participation and especially to Carol Duffy who was blessed among men. It was very encouraging to see so many people waiting in the car park at Croagh Patrick when we arrived. Thanks to Kiernan Milling for sponsoring the cycle run and to Niall Fox for his invaluable help on the day also to Mary Mulligan for her help. To all those who drove down and travelled on the bus thank you for your support. To everyone who made donations to the fund your generosity was much appreciated. After a long hard climb to the top of the Reek cyclists and supporters all joined in a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr Simon Cadam. It was a great day for the community of Granard and something we hope to continue to do on a yearly basis and make it our Parish Pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick.
