WATERWORKS: Pipe laying for the improvement of Kenagh water Scheme is making good progress at present. This is a new idea in pipe laying with the minimum of upset to local people. Rather than digging up the road as was done before the pipes are laid by drilling underground and then pushing the pipes through. The job is now complete through the village with the least amount of damage to the surface or surroundings. When complete there should be a big improvement in the water supply.

The GAA for the use of their pitch our coaches Emmett & Rory for their help. Fintan Farrelly for equipment and handing out notes in the school. Thanks also to Stephen and Dara for sending out texts, to Mick Duignan for his help and to the lads who marked the pitch out in style. Thank you all again.
