Festival: Our annual festival starts on Sunday 7th August to 14th August. The festival is always on the first Sunday after the August Bank Holiday. With all the recent bad weather it is nice to think that the festival is not far away and fingers crossed we will have put all the horrible weather behind us. The committee are busy as usual putting together a great festival with fun for all ages. So roll on August the 7th!

Blood Donors: The Blood Transfusion mobile unit team will return again to The Community Centre, Ballinamore on Monday 20th June, 2011 from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m and 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Some 3000 units (pints) of blood are needed overall each week to cater for emergency and routine cases requiring transfusions of blood and blood products in hospitals all over the country.  Thanks to everyone who attended the last clinic and please come again to the Community Centre, Ballinamore on Monday 20th June and if possible bring a friend.

Social event: Drumreilly Community Social for Connor Daly will be held in Drumcoura Lake Resort on Friday 17th June. Music and refreshments, admission optional. Your support would be appreciated.

Bake Sale: Get ready for lots of yummy baked treats! There will be a fundraising bake sale held on the 19th of June after Mass, at the courtyard. All proceeds will be going towards project resources for Lydia Cumiskey’s trip to Delhi, India with the UCD Volunteers Overseas team who will be working on projects including education programmes for children living in the slums and shelter homes around the city,

ATHLETIC CLUB: Many thanks to all who made our Annual Sports such a success despite the difficult weather conditions last Monday. Our club will be represented in the Connacht Under 12 Club training continues this Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00 p.m.
