ACHIEVEMENTS: Congratulations is extended to Michael Brady Middleton Loughduff Robert Vance Arva Francie Reilly Cornadrum Aughnacliffe, John Bohannon Aughadowry Ballinamuck and Grey Doris Ballinalee who recently donated over 50 units of blood. This is a tremendous achievement and was acknowledged by the Irish blood transfusion service at their annual blood donors award ceremony held recently in the Headford Arms Hotel Kells Co Meath.

WEDDING BELLS: Congratulations to Paul Donohoe Hawthorn Lodge Aughavas Loch Gowna and Patricia Hannick Sligo who were married on Thursday 2nd June in Lough Rynn Castle Mohill Co Leitrim. Following the wedding ceremony a very enjoyable reception was held at the Castle. We wish Paul and Patricia many years of health and happiness in their married life together.

THANKS: Catherine Keogh Corfree Loch Gowna would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported and helped out with the recently held alzheimers tea morning in Brigids community centre. A total of 450 euro was raised.

SYMPATHY: Deepest sympathy is extended to Mrs Eileen Finegan Castlepoles Arva on the death of her daughter Mrs Carmel Redmond, Bree, Castblaney, Co Monaghan on Saturday 28th May at the Mater Hospital Dublin. Also sympathy to Carmel’s brothers Sean, Pat, Hugh, Jim, Denis and Philip, sisters Mary and Nuala, husband Johnny son Neal daughter Janeen an extended family. Her remains were removed from her residence on Wednesday morning to St Mary’s Church Castleblaney and following requiem Mass burial took place in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

CONDOLENCE: Deepest sympathy is extended to Phil Galligan Legwee Lough duff Co Cavan on the death of his wife Rose which occurred at her residence on Friday 3rd June. Also sympathy to her sons Padraig Philip Seamus and Ollie , daughter in law Lorraine and Denise grandchildren brothers and sisters relatives and friends. Her remains were removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Church Mullahoran and following requiem mass on Sunday burial took place to Mullaghboy cemetery. May she rest in peace.
