PIONEERS FUNDRAISING APPEAL: The Pioneer Association is projection a deficit of 100 000 euro in 2011. This is due to the decline in the Pioneer magazine circulation and other income sources. The PTAA and central Office face closure this year unless there is an urgent injection of funds. A donation of 10 euro per member would raise the necessary finance. It is hoped that most members will give more. For many members this is the first time they have been asked to contribute to the association. The appeal has raised 615 euro to date in Cashel.
