Tidy Towns – Pride of Place
Drumlish Village has been nominated by Longford County Council to represent the County in this all-island competition that acknowledges the work that communities are doing all over the island of Ireland.- the competition is run in association with Co-operation Ireland and the local authorities and is sponsored by IPS Insurance who underwrite insurance for community events. It is another reason that we ask people to make an extra effort for this one year to facelift the remaining tired and run-down buildings (community and otherwise) around the village, as well as vacant spaces. It is is a huge recognition for Drumlish to be nominated and we do not want to be found wanting. Drumlish Tidy Towns/Village Enhancement will be happy to discuss and help in any we can.
