I’m delighted to announce that Newtownforbes Tidy Towns have secured funding for a playground in Newtown. On behalf of everyone I would like to say a sincere thank you to Alfie Moorhead who has donated the land to the committee for the project. The funding which has been secured is not enough to complete the project and over the coming weeks we will be asking you to support our fund raising event. A Plan of what the playground will look like when complete will be on display at a number of locations through out the village. Please support.
Congratulations to Darren and Chantrelle McCaffrey on the birth of their baby son, Daniel. Eoin is delighted with his new brother.
