National School

Held their Christmas play over two nights last week. It was just amazing. Congrats to all the children from Mrs. McManus’s room, Ms. Magan’s room and Ms. Kiernan’s. They were just brilliant. Not to mention the four children that had their last concert in Clondra, Marc Bracken, Roisin Cox, Laura Nevin and Alannah Hanley.


Waterways, Clondra Art & craft classes will recommence for children & adults in New Year. Also various paintings of local scenes etc. for viewing & sale now at Waterways Building, call 087 6158772.

Give Blood

The blood transfusion board are holding a clinic in the Longford Arms on Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th August from: 4:30pm - 8:00pm.

GAA lotto

The St Brigid’s GAA Christmas lotto results, numbers drawn were 14, 23, 27, 28 .There was no Jackpot winner . €40 winner was Sean Whitney, €20 winners were Frank Clancy, Katie Fay, and Margaret Duffy. Christmas Draw results were turkey: Mel Skelly, Ham: Joe O’Brien, Christmas cake: Virginia Fetherstone, bottle of whiskey: Eamon Casey and Biscuits: Ann Evans. The next draw is in on Sunday 28/12/2014 for a jackpot of €7100 in The Richmond Inn. Looking for a Christmas gift idea?
