Coffee event

In aid of Longford Hospice Homecare will be held after each mass weekend 18/19 October 2014 in Ennybegs Community Centre Killoe. All support will be greatly appreciated.

21st Birthday

Congratulations to Ciara Gilna,daughter of PJ and Vera Esker Killoe who celebrated that extra key to the door (another one for the keyring) birthday joined by family and friends in Coy’s pub Longford last week. And another handsome young man was also joined by family and friends in Coy’s pub where they celebrated an extra key to the door birthday for Damion Mullervey, son of Maureen Ballinalee Co Longford last week. The parish extend congratulations to Damion and Ciara for a great future filled with good health and happiness and hope you enjoyed your special birthdays.

Irish Dancing

Traditional Irish dancing classes take place in Cullyfad Community Centre Killoe each Monday at 5pm and in Ennybegs Community Centre Killoe on Saturdays from 10.30am. All levels and ages catered for. Contact Marian Kiernan tel 086 8478209.

Church notes

St Marys Ennybegs Masses Wednesday/ Thursday at 10am. Friday (Station Mass Jimmy McCormack Bawn). “Do this in memory of me” First Holy Communion Mass Sunday, October 19 at 11am. St Mels Cathedral hoping to have celebrations of masses weekend before Christmas Saturday & Sunday, December 20 & 21. Midnight Mass and 10am Christmas morning mass will be broadcasted by RTE television. Seating on a first come basis. Exposition blessed Sacrament both Churches Wednesday 6-9pm.
