The club would like to congratulate Derek Steele who was a member of the Clonterm Tug-of-War team who became the national champions at the 640kg competition in New Ross on Sunday, July 27.

Cashel win

In the All County Football League Division 2 Round St. Brigid’s were defeated by Cashel on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-18 in Killashee on the 31/7/2014. In the Junior ‘A’ Football Championship Group 4, Brigid’s play Ballymahon on bank holiday Monday 4th august at 6pm at Leo Casey Park, Ballymahon. On Sunday 10th August in Round 2 of the Intermediate Championship, St Brigids play Cashel in Cloonbonny at 5pm. Good luck to the players involved in both these fixtures and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Lotto: The next lotto draw will be held in the Camlin Bar Clondra for a jackpot of €6480 on August 10. Lotto prices are €2 per line or €5 for 3 lines. Yearly subscriptions costing €45 are available from committee members.

Cemetery Sunday

Cemetery Sunday for the parish will be held on 17th August with Mass and blessing of graves in Killashee at 10.30am and Ballinakill at 3pm. Blessing of graves in Clondra will be at 7.30 followed by Mass at 8pm. All those with family plots in each cemetery are urged to tidy up graves in preparation for Cemetery Sunday.
