Bank Holiday

Bank Holiday

Following a weekend of torrential rain which resulted in widespread flooding in many areas the Bank holiday Monday was bright and sunny. Traditionally, August is family holiday time before the schools open at the end of the month and hopefully conditions will improve out summer is not over yet.

Wedding Bells

There were two local weddings in the parish at the weekend. We extend congratulations to Noel Dalton and Sinead Kelly, also to Patrick Plunkett and Catherine Doyle who all took their vows. We wish both couples God’s blessing and many years of good health and happiness in the future together.
