Summer Camps

County Longford Youth Service will be holding a 5 day Summer Camp in Edgeworthstown the week of Monday, 11 Aug from 10:00am to 1pm.  The cost is low at €15.00 per young person.  This camp is open to young people aged 10 and over. A wonderful week of fun activities, laughter and learning for all concerned is promised.  Activities can include soccer games, dodge ball, volleyball, unihoc, arts, drumming workshop, short games, basketball, team-building activities, but these activities may vary.  There are still places available.  For further information or to book a place please contact County Longford Youth Service at 043-3340907.

Mostrim Players

Mostrim Players present “The Carnival at Glenaduff”, a hilarious showband comedy written by Padraic McIntyre, directed by Elaine Kelly and produced by Vanessa Flood in the Park House Hotel from Thursday, August 7th to Sunday, August 10th. The Thursday, Friday & Saturday shows are at 8pm with a Sunday matinee at 6pm. Tickets are €10 and are on sale from local outlets.

Youth 2000 Summer Festival

Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August 2014 for young people aged 16-35, an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic faith and meet many new people. This Festival has been nicknamed the “Holy Oxygen” with over 1000 young people from all corners of Ireland attending last year. The Festival is donation only. Free buses available from towns throughout Ireland.
