Killoe minor club are hosting their annual table quiz on Friday, June 6, 2014 starting at 9.30pm. Venue the Olde Forge, Killoe. Table of 4 cost 40 euro. Everyone is welcome and your support will be greatly appreciated.


Congrats to all you 6th class girls from St Theresa’s NS, Clontumpher and mentors who acclaimed their final dream v Dromard girls last week, completing a double glory under their belts. Well you can now rest on your laurels and dream of your next school level. Good luck ! Also congrats to the Killoe soccer club teams and mentors on their recent competitive success. Sincere sympathy is extended to Tom Nolan and families, Leeds, UK/Bawn, Killoe, Kelly families, Mullahoran, Co Cavan, Nolan families, Bawn, Delaney families, Rhyne, Killoe, Lennon families, Esker, Kiloe on the sad bereavement of Tom’s wife, Annette (nee Kelly, late Kilcogy, Co Cavan) who was laid to rest last week. Requiem mass was celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran with burial in Aughaboy cemetery, Killoe. May she rest peacefully. Also the parish extend sincere condolence to Peter and Bernie Collum and families, Drumlish, extended families, friends, neighbours on the unexpected bereavement of their beloved son, Brian who was laid to rest last week. Community Games

Killoe Community Games Annual Social night and fundraiser will take place in Begley’s Pub, Ennybegs, on Saturday night next, the 31st. May. We hope to have a good turnout and your support will be greatly appreciated. Our U-10 Indoor Soccer Team played in the Leinster Games quarter final last Saturday and lost against a very strong Ashbourne team. Well done boys and manager Brian Finneran.
