The mobile unit of Irish Blood Transfusion Service will visit Loch Gowna on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th January. Location: St Brigid’s Community Centre. Clinic opening times 5pm – 8.30pm. Help ensure essential blood supplies are always available by giving blood regularly.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Mrs Margaret Matthews, Toome, Dring on the death of her husband, Jim, which occurred at his residence on Sunday, December 22, peacefully in the care of his family. Also sympathy to his son John , daughters, Paula and Sharon, brothers in law Fr Bernard and Myles O’Reilly, grandchildren, daughter in law, sons in law, nieces and nephews. His remains were removed from his residence to St Columba’s Church, Mullinalaghta on Monday evening and following funeral mass on Tuesday burial took place in the local cemetery. May he rest in peace.
