Annaduff beaten: In a much improved performance Annaduffs second team were beaten by Aughavas by 1-13 to 1-6 in Annaduff on Easter Sunday. 
Annaduff lined out as follows - Kevin Ludlow, Padraic McGlynn, Thomas Flanagan, Hugh Moylan, Ronan Conroy (0-1), Dean Gill, Matthew Reynolds, Brendan Lynch, Alan Rowley (0-2), Micheal O’Dowd, Cathal Cox, Karl Foley, Niall Maxwell (0-3), Gary O’Brien, Frank McNabola. Subs used: Johnny O’Connor (1-0), Kenton McCormack, Conor Ward, Gary Egan, Eoin Reynolds.

Photographic Exhibition: AIibhe McGill (Longford Leader), Dromod is hosting her solo photographic exhibition in the Libaries in Ballinamore and Mohill. Ballinamore will end on the 12th April and will then move on to Mohill ending on Friday April 26th. Hours 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday.

Bible Study: Bible Study with Rev. Bill Atkins takes place each Tuesday during Lent in Drumsna Community Centre from 11am to noon. All are welcome.

Gathering Date: Looking for past pupils and their descendants of Annaduff National School . Come home and meet your old friends or foes.Send out the word and ask them to be here on 27th July 2013. Friday Evening kicks off with a Ceili in Annaduff Community Centre. On Saturday, there will be Sports Bar-B-Q and a general get together. On Sunday there will be Service in St.Ann’s Church and Mass possibly on the Mass Rock followed by Historical Tour of Dromod and Drumsna. The afternoon’s entertainment in Drumsna Community Centre will have a nostalgic flavour with many surprises.

Annaduff Parish/ G.A.A Lotto: At the draw held in Duignan’s of Drumsna, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 3,9,21,22.The 50 Euro winner was Thomas Faughnan, Corduff. The 25 euro winners were Jonathan Harte, Aughintass, Doreen Ward, Annaduff, Patricia Reilly, Glebe, John Dowling, Dromod.

Silver Medal: Congratulations to Joanna Duignan daughter of Teresa and Philip, Gortinee on winning a Silver Medal in the 800 metres under 18 at the All Ireland Championships in Athlone.

Sympathy: Deepest sympathy is extended to Bernard Wynne, Corraterriff, Eslin, on the death of his brother-in-law, Tony Green, Drumlish, Elphin. Tony was a brother of the late Sadie Wynne. May he rest in Peace.

New Arrival: Congratulations to James and Mary Faughnan, Annaduff and Ck-on-Shannon on the birth of a baby girl, a little sister for Laura, Maria and James.

Bingo: Bingo in Drumsna Community Centre every Thursday at 8.30.

Festival Day: The Annual Family Festival Day takes place on Sunday 5th May. All the usual attractions including a 5km Fun Run.

James Gill Fundraiser: Fundraiser for the James Gill cancer Fund will be held in Cox’s Streakhouse Bar, Dromod on this Friday April 5th starting at 9.30. Music by Nando and Shandy. James is a son of Declan and Geraldine Gill and a grandson of Mary and P.J. Gill, Drumsna and is suffering from a rare liver cancer. His only hope is further treatment in the U.S.A which will cost 80,000 euro. Tickets on sale for 10 euro for draw in Taylor’s of Drumsna on April 20th. Prizes include - Vintage Tractor, Heifer and 300 euro of Heating Oil.
