TABLE QUIZ: Mohill Agricultural Show Committee would greatly appreciate your support at their fund raising table quiz on this Friday 20th April in Js Hotel at 9.30pm sharp. Come along and test the old brain box. All are welcome.

FREE COMPUTER CLASSES: Fas are running a basic computer course in Mohill library starting the end of April. The course will run for two hours a week for sixteen weeks. 50TH WEDDINNG CELEBRATIONS: Easter Monday 2012 brings back lovely memories to two very happy couples who celebrated their double golden wedding anniversary last week in the Landmark Hotel Carrick on Shannon. Our warmest congratulations go to Michael and Sarah Beirne (Faughan) Annaduff who were married in Drumsna Church on Easter Monday 1962 and on that same day Michael’s sister Lily married Sarah’s brother Thomas Faughnan Dromard . As you celebrated this special milestone in your life’s journey we hope you reflect back along the roads you have travelled and feel all the warmth and love that came from the lives you have touched along your way and may you continue in good health to enjoy many more happy years together with your family and friends.

International Eucharistic Congress: Many people are asking what is a Eucharistic Congress. Programme booklets are now available that will help to answer that question. As well as the daily celebration of the Eucharist the booklet has details of the keynote addresses workshops and cultural events taking place. Please take one home with you. In this diocese we have planned to have the fourth annual collection for the congress on the weekend of the 10th June.However the national committee will promote the collection on the first weekend of May. If you wish to contribute to this collection. Please use the envelope in your box or the envelope enclosed with the congress booklet. Also please note that the parish will sponsor a bus to the congress on Tuesday 12th June If there is sufficient demand. Tickets for the Congress can be booked at www.iec2012.ie. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF IRELAND: are you caring for someone in your family with Alzheimers disease or other dementia ? Because the Alzheimer Society of Ireland are holding a free five week course of training for family carers of people with alzheimers disease or other dementia. COOKERY DEMONSTRATION: Shannonside Radio’s resident celebrity chef Frank Moynihan will be in Eslin Community Centre on Wednesday 25th April at 8pm to give a cookery demonstration.
