IRISH DANCING CLASSES:The Maureen School of Irish dancing will resume in Saint Dominics Community Centre,Kenagh from Monday April 16th at 4.30pm following Easter break. No wigs make up,fake tans for dancers,children can dance for competition or enjoyment. Fees 4.50 euro per child per lesson with a ten euro family rate per class with further reduction for children who pay by the month. Contact Maureen on 086 3702719. Newcomers welcome.

DEATH: the death has occurred of Sheila Kenny (nee Bracken) of 27 Chapel Street Longford and formerly of Glannagh Moatfarrell on Friday last April 13th at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. She was wife of the late Jack and mother of the late John Kenny. Her remains were in repose at Saint Josephs Hospital chapel on Sunday April 15th followed by her funeral Mass and burial afterwards to Clonbroney Cemtery. We extend our sincere sympathy to her daughters Mary Moran and Kathleen Plummer Kenagh. Ann and Sheila,sons in law daughters in law,grandchildren great grandchildren,nieces nephews and a large circle of friends in Kenagh Longford and Moatfarrell. May she rest in peace.

MARRIAGES: Congratulations and best wishes to Rebecca McKeon Clonanny daughter of Oliver and Angela and Fabian Mullin Ballybofey Co Donegal who were married in Curry Church Ballymacormack on Saturday last April fourteenth. Celebrant of their wedding ceremony was father Brendan O’Sullivan. The reception was held in the Farnham Estate Manor Cavan which was attended by a large gathering of relatives friends and neighbours.

CONGRATULATIONS: We also send congratulations and good wishes to Sinead McManus daughter of the late Gerry and Carmel Terlicken Ballymahon and Enda Henehan who were married a Saint Matthews Church Ballymahon last Friday April 13.Chief celebrant of the marriage ceremony was Father Padraig McGowan PP Ballymahon. Best man was Patrick Henehan assisted by Peter Vickers David Bartly Justin Hopkins and John Dillon O’Shea, bridesmaids Gerald and Michelle McManus Catriona Farrell Michelle Rushe and Lavina Heneghan. Church music was rendered by Veronica Moran,Miriam Walsh and Avril Walshe. The reception was held in Glasson Golf Hotel Killanure which was enjoyed by a large crowd of friends and relatives from both families. We wish both Rebecca and Fabian Sinead and Enda all the best for long lives of wedded bliss.
