INFORMATION NIGHT: Ballymahon Traders Association is hosting a ‘business start up/development’ information night on Friday September 23rd in Cooneys Hotel at 7pm. If you are interested in starting your own business, have an idea and would like to develop it or have a small business and would like to expand why not come along to our free information night. Speakers from County Enterprise Board Longford Community Resources Ltd,VEC banking representatives etc will be in attendance. In these recessionary times we hope to provide people with all the information they may need to create employment for themselves and others. All welcome on the night. CONVENT DAY CARE CENTRE: The Hostage takes place at the Back Stage in Longford on Thursday 6th Oct at 7.30pm. If anyone at the day care centre wishes to travel please leave your name with Eimear. The group will travel to Westport in February for 2 nights,all welcome, again please inform Eimear. Next week the centre has music on Wednesday and laughter yoga on Thursday, and also provides cardio exercise daily, contact Eimear if you would like to take part. Everyone at Ballymahon convent day care centre would like to thank all involved in the church gate collections at the weekend in Ballymahon, Tang Carrickedmond, Abbeyshrule, Forgney and Kenagh, all funds are very much appreciated.
