FAS WORK: Applications are invited for 2 places on the new Kenagh Community Employent Scheme due to commence at the end of October. The vacancies are in the village and the Church. Applications to the FAS Office Market Square Longford tel 043 3346829.

RE-OPENING: Kenagh’s Tuesday night special social group will recommence on Tuesday night September 27th . Hours eight to 10pm. Refreshments served. The group will meet every Tuesday night for the coming winter. We will have social activities for all ages. Newcomers very welcome.

DEATHS: We offer your sympathy to Florence Drumm Keelogue Moydow on the death of her brother Leo Anthony Drumm who died during the past week. He was interred in Newtownforbees after his funeral Mass last Saturday. We also offer our sympathy to Margaret McKenna on the death of her father Oliver who died at 91 years of age during the past week. Oliver was husband of the late Ann Rogers formerly of Ards kenagh. May they both rest in peace.
