Wedding Bells: Congratulations and best wishes to Bébhinn Nolan, Clondra and Noel Ryan, Dublin who were married last weekend in Borris, Co. Carlow. We wish them every happiness in their future married life together.

Death: Deepest sympathy is extended to the Hanrahan families, in Ballymahon, Castlebar, Offaly and Dublin on the sudden death of their sister Rita of Kileeney, Killashee, which occurred at the weekend. Rita was a daughter of the late Master Hanrahan who taught in Clondra N.S in the 1950’s.

On Holidays: Home on holidays presently is Druime Nolan, Perth West Australia for the wedding of her sister Bébhinn. We wish Druime and her son a very pleasant stay while visiting her parents Pat and Crea Nolan here in Clondra.

Cemetery Sunday: Cemetery Sunday takes place this year in the parish on August 14th. Mass and blessing of the graves at 10.30a.m. and in Ballinakill Cemetery at 3p.m.(weather permitting). Prayers and blessing of the graves in Clondra at 7.30p.m., followed by mass at 8p.m.

Angling Lessons: The Camlin and District Angling club and Recreational Angling Ireland, invite all young anglers to a free angling lesson on Saturday July 23rd on the Royal Canal from 2p.m. to 5p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn about the different methods of fishing and how to catch many species of fish.
