Thanks to Philip Epps for the following report: - “The Ramblers visited Portlick on last Sunday, May 1st. The walk through the woods beside Lough Ree is always a pleasure, especially at this time of the year when there are carpets of bluebells between the trees. Another feature is the Millenium Forest, one of several in the country which were planted at the turn of the century with a tree for everyone in the state.
