SEAMUS KIERNAN - The death occurred on Saturday 16th April at Roscommon County hospital of Seamus Kiernan, late of Grousehall and Surrey, England. Funeral took place following requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Roscommon to St. Coman’s cemetery. We extend our sincere sympathy to his wife and family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

WELL DONE

Well done to Paul Brady and Micheal Finnegan who won the All Ireland Handball Senior Doubles Title in Kingscourt on Saturday last.

Div 1 - Well done to the reserves team and the senior team who both secured wins over the weekend against Munterconnaught and Cuchulainns. The Junior team drew with Cuchulainns. Well done also to our Under 16s on their league win over Killygarry yesterday evening; Mullahoran 2 14 Killygarry 2 12.

HAMPER

HELP WITH HOMEWORK

This 6 week course is aimed at parents of school going children between the ages of 9 and 12 years of age. The Course will begin in the next two weeks and will run on a Wednesday night at 8.00 p.m. There are a few places remaining on the course. FIRST AID

The CDP are hosting the complete FETAC Level 5 in Occupational First Aid in the next few weeks. The cost of the training is €110.00 per person. The training will run on 3 respective Saturdays in the Realtog Centre, Kilnaleck. There are a few places left on the course. For further information please call 049 4336070.
