Death of Annie Fahy
It was with deep regret hat we learned of the sudden death on 12th February of Mrs Annie Fahy (nee Connor) at her home in Leo Casey Tce Ballymahon at the great age of 84 years. She is predeceased by her husband Paddy and son Frank. Annie was a grand quiet lady and a great and generous neighbour whose life centred around her family. Having reared her own family she then loved nothing better than to see her grandchildren grow up and dropping in to see her, she was so proud of them all. Annie’s remains were removed from her home to St Matthew’s Church where the funeral mass was held and was attended by a very large cortege, she will be sadly missed by her family and friends. We extend our sincere sympathy to Annie’s sons Joe Eugene and Raymond, daughters Nuala Angela Ann (Granard) and Jacqueline (Mount Temple) sons in law , daughters in law, her grandchildren and all he relatives neighbours and friends. Her remains were laid to rest at shrule cemetery. May god grant rest to her soul.
