DROMOD FESTIVAL - To officially kick off preparations for the 2011 Dromod Family Festival Day, a launch night is organised for Saturday 26th Feb, 9pm in the Brandywell, Dromod. A short presentation by Dromod Development will highlight the many excellent works completed in 2010, much of which is dependent on local fund raising events such as the Festival Day.
The presentation will also focus on the works planned for 2011 which will include many new projects. Last year’s Annaduff Vs Bornacoola over 40s match will be replayed on the big screen to allow for an in-depth technical analysis and match punditry followed by a man of the match presentation. A prize raffle will also take place to kick off fund raising for the 2011 Festival Day. Live music will follow courtesy of Feargal McGill. As stated a few weeks ago the 2011 Festival is planned for Sunday 1st May and the Festival Committee is still very interested to hear from any individuals, groups or organisations who could further add to the success of the day. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 0877434357.
