Bus to Ploughing
By request we are organising a bus to travel to the Ploughing Championship in Stradbally, Co. Laois subject to sufficient interest on September the 22nd. For transport booking we need to have numbers in asap. Call 043 6660977 or 087 0558549.
â€˜Busybees Parent & Toddler Groupâ€™
Will hold their first meeting of the Autumn on Tuesday the 22nd. From 10 am to 12 noon. All babies and toddlers welcome with their parents or carers. Lots of interesting workshops and fun play time.
Seated Exercise Group: back Friday the 18th. at 11am. All welcome. Women in Touch &Granard Art Club will be back in action on the usual days; Tuesday the 22nd for WIT and Wed the 23rd for the Art Group. All welcome and a truly great programme will be on offer.
Reconvene the week of the 22nd as follows: Cool Girls Club (9 to 12 yrs) Tuesdays 4.30 â€“ 6 pm; Boys Zone (9-12 yrs) Thursdays 4.30-6pm. Children 6-8 yrs club meet on Wednesdays from 3 â€“ 4 pm. Glee Club back Saturday September 26th normal time.
Foroige commences September 24th at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you all. New members welcome.
A four week Personal Development programme in the centre on Monday evenings starting 28th September and ending on October 19th. This is a great opportunity to become more mindful and self-aware and take time out to care for yourself. Bookings now being taken.
Will be delivered in the centre starting on September 15th. This is a free evening programme that supports positive parenting and enhances family life and communication within the family. Bookings can be made through the centre.
Irish Heart Foundation Mobile Visit
Will take place on September 16th between 10 am and 1 pm. This is an opportunity to have a free health check and get some valuable information on lifestyle and personal health care.
The FRC have kindly received a deeply appreciated donation of a six ton trailer of split ash timber for raffle to raise funds for our counselling service. Tickets will go on sale shortly at â‚¬5 each. We ask for your support. The first prize is worth an estimated â‚¬500.
