Mr Brian Comaskey

There was widespread regret with the news of the death of Mr Brian Comaskey, Mullahoran Lower who was a most highly respected resident. A kind friendly and most helpful neighbour and friend his passing is widely regretted. Brian, who was a highly respected member of the farming community was predeceased by his sister, Mrs Rose Fitzpatrick, brothers Peter, Tommie and Dan and is survived by his nieces Breda Galligan, Carrick and Coleen and Antonette Sheridan, Groushall, Loughduff, nephews in law Sean and Kieran and relatives to whom I extend the sympathy of our community. The funeral which was large and representative and bore ample testimony of the esteem with which the deceased and his family are held throughout Cavan and adjoining counties took place following requiem mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran to the family burial ground and may Brian’s gentle soul enjoy eternal rest.
