Spring Clean Day
Arrangements are being made for another village ‘clean up’ day on Tuesday, 28th April, with the school children and helpers participating during the day and adults and teenagers helping in the evening from 7.00p.m. - 9.00p.m. We are encouraging everyone to help out as the level of litter on the approach roads to the village has greatly increased and it is not attractive. We appeal to everyone to be litter conscious and not to dump on the side of the road. We had a very good attendance at last year’s ‘clean up’ and we are hoping that more people will get involved this year. The more people and help we have the faster the job will be done. Please meet at the community centre at 7.00pm for the evening session and bring a high visibility jacket and gloves if possible.
