Are you interested in doing two 5K walks a week for six weeks. If you are interested it is hoped to commence with this walking group on Monday night the 16th Feb commencing from the complex in Carrickedmond at 8:30pm and continuing every Monday and Thursday night up to Thursday the 2nd April. The walks is open to male and female walkers and remember to bring your high vis coats.
A collection will be taken up at all masses in the parish next weekend the 14th and 15th February in aid of the Lourdes Pilgrims fund. Please support.
Takes place every Saturday night from 9pm to 11pm in Cooneyâ€™s Hotel, Ballymahon. This night is proving to be a very popular night for social dancing lovers with the best of music provided on the night. Everyone welcome and admission is â‚¬5.
A class for new people wishing to learn the skills of CPR and how to use a defibrillator will take place on Thursday night the 19th February in St Sinneachâ€™s Hall, Carrickedmond commencing at 7:30pm. Tidy Towns AGM
Abbeyshrule Tidy Towns committee will hold their AGM on Monday night the 16th February at 8.30pm. All welcome and the outgoing committee look forward to a good turnout on the night.
St Bridgetâ€™s Day

Spring House Station
House station for the Tashinney area will take place at the home of Mary Egan on this Friday night the 13th February at 8pm.
A six week bereavement course begins in the family Centre, Longford on Wednesday, February the 18th. This course is lead by two trained bereavement facilitators.
