Mass for Healing

Celebrated Mass for Healing in Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall on Monday, 8th December at 8pm. Mass will be preceeded by Rosary and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 7pm. Priests will be available for celebration of Penance and Reconcilation. All people welcome to this very special event.

Kelly family bereaved

We send our sympathies to Jude and Ita Kelly on the death of Luke Kelly, Cloonmore, brother of Jude’s, also survived by sister Adelaide, niece Colette McManus, other relations and many friends and kind neighbours. May he rest in peace. Full obituary note next week.

Longford Warmer Homes provides free attic insulation, cavity wall insulation and energy advice to elderly and disadvantaged home owners throughout the county that meet certain criteria. Longford Warmer Homes also carries out work for the elderly as part of the Care & Repair Scheme. We are trying to make people throughout Co. Longford aware that this free service is available. Christmas Fair

A Christmas Fair and Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday, 7th December from 12.30pm to 6pm. The event will be hosted by 17th Roscommon Kilglass/Tarmonbarry Scouts Group and Shannon river Adventure Centre. Santa Claus will be there and your children can write their letter to him there and give it to him. Lots of lovely ideas on the day, also see what the kids have done, some lovely work, also bric a brac on the day and lots more. Contact Patsy 086-6031767 or Lara 087-9610773 for further details. Progressive 25

Progressive 25 continues in Kilglass Community Centre on Tuesday nights at 8.30pm. Winter league started Tuesday, 30th September and continue until

Adoration

Adoraration of the Blessed Sacrament in St. Anne’s Church, Scramogue takes place on Friday evenings between 6.45pm to 7.45pm.

Card Game

The annual Card game in aid of Church Restoration Fund takes place on Friday 12th and Monday, 15th December in Leavy’s Lounge. Lots of prizes to be won, including a major Hamper. Tickets on sale now costing 3 euro each. First prize Monster Hamper, 2nd Prize 100 euro, 3rd Prize 50 euro. If you wish to donate to the Hamper you may leave in items to Leavy’s or to any committee member.

Scramogue Choir practice takes place in the Church on Thursday 11 the December at 7.30pm in preparation for Christmas. All members please note. New members welcome.
