Leo Casey History Group

Their latest book Ballymahon “A Journey back in time”, was published and launched in November 2013. It proved to be an outstanding success and sold out rapidly, at the end of the day many people had not managed to get a copy and requested if a reprint was possible. That limited reprint became available just recently in October. Those who had requested books have by now purchased them and are impressed by the extensive photographic archive revealed therein. As Christmas now approaches, the History Group’s members would like to recommend this fascinating pictorial record of Ballymahon people and events of yesteryear, it would make a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone far from home or connected in any way with our town. Books are still available while stocks last at Hanly’s Newsagents and Nallys Service Station on the Longford road. If anyone did not get a copy of the book first time round, now is your “last” chance as there will be no further reprint.
