Day trip to Dublin
Day Trip to Dublin takes place on Thursday, 21 August, leaving Abbeylara at 9am. Stopping at the Visitor Centre in the Phoenix Park, here we will learn all about the Phoenix Park and surrounding areas. We will have our mid morning break here of Tea/Scones. In the afternoon we will be visiting the Guinness Store House at 2pm. This tour usually takes two and half hours, and on the sixth floor we will have our complimentary pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar. The view of Dublin City from this point is breathtaking, where you can look over Dublin City from any angle. From this year onwards, everyone (including self employed) is eligible to assist the parish in its claim from Revenue.
