Kilglass/Tarmonbarry scouts wish to thank you for your most generous support for their church gate collection held last weekend. I know the organizers are very happy with the amount of money collected. The Scouts is aimed to support young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, that they may play constructive roles in society, with a strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills. This is a voluntary organisation. Your support for this organization will be gratefully appreciated as they organize what will be a wonderful challenge for the young lads throughout this region.

Well done Rossies
Great day for the Rossies in Cavan on Saturday last in the senior football championship. Many locals travelled to Kingspan Breffni Park and were keen to watch progress of Tarmonbarry man, David Keenan. David was having a good game but got a knock on the head and was taken off as a precaution. We are glad to report that David is fighting fit again and will be rearing to go next Saturday as Armagh come to Hyde Park to face Roscommon in the next round of the championship. Good luck to the Rossies.
